MILOS STREMCHA obituary

Milos Stremcha, 91, of Havre, retired railroader who worked in the building and bridges department, died Monday, April 21, 2003, at a Havre care center of natural causes.

Viewing will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the Holland and Bonine Funeral Home. The funeral service

will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Northern Montana Care Center with the Rev. Robert G. Grosch officiating and with Ila McClenahan as the eulogist. Burial

will follow at the Calvary Cemetery. Immediatley after the services at the graveside there will be a luncheon at the VFW.

Milos was born Jan. 13, 1912, in Edwardsville, Ill., to Anton and Frances (Smoltz) Stremcha. In 1915 his family moved to north of Havre where they homesteaded. Milo attended country school in North Havre.

Milos worked for the Great Northern Railway and later enlisted in the U.S. Army and served his country during World War II. He was honorably discharged as a private from Camp Cooke California. After his discharge he went back to work for the Great Northern Railway and later retired.

Milos enjoyed hunting, fishing, singing and playing bingo.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and two sisters.

Milos is survived by his sister, Margaret (Walter) Robertson of Big Sandy; brother William (June) Stremcha of Havre; and numerous nieces and nephews.
