WILLIAM NASH

CHINOOK - William L. "Bill" Nash, 62, died Saturday, Feb. 22, 2003, due to a semi-truck accident west of Rawlins, Wyo.

A funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday in the American Lutheran Church with burial in Kuper Memorial Cemetery with military honors.

Bill was born on April 28, 1942, to Wallace and Lucille(Finley) Nash in Havre. He attended schools in Chinook and graduated from Chinook High School in 1960. From 1960 to 1962 he served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged from the Montana National Guard in 1963.

He married Carol Bapista in Kemmerer in 1963. They later divorced.

Bill worked at Kimball's Gas Station in Chinook and worked construction at Kemmerer, Wyo., before purchasing a Conoco gas station there. He was involved in over-the-road trucking for about 40 years and was leased to Yellowstone Trucking in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.

Bill's hobbies included hunting, fishing and watching pro rodeo bull riding. Being an over-the-road truck driver had been Bill's dream and his plan was to retire back to Montana in two years.

Bill was preceded in death by his father, Wallace Nash in 1963, and sister, Diana Greenly in 2002.

Survivors include his mother, Lucille Nash of Chinook; daughters, Jolynn Teuscher and Frances Mogen, both of Kemmerer, Wyo.; sister, Walline (Clifford) Campbell of Great Falls; brother-in-law Gerald Greenly of Rock Springs, Wyo.; four grandchildren; two uncles; and several nephews and nieces.

Arrangements are by Edwards Funeral Home of Chinook.
