OLIVE KIEMELE

Olive K. Kiemele, 79, of Havre died Thursday, Feb. 27, 2003, at her residence of natural causes.

Her funeral service is 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Van Orsdel United Methodist Church with the Rev. Mike Parr officiating. Public viewing will be from 3 to 5

p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. to noon on Tuesday. Burial is to follow at the Highland Cemetery. Fellowship

to follow the committal rite at Van Orsdel United Methodist Church.

Olive was born Dec. 30, 1923, to Theo and Ida (Hauge)

Kenfield 21 miles north of Inverness in the Minneota Community. She attended grade school at Minneota and graduated from Inverness High School in 1942. She lived in Seattle, Wash., during the war years, working in the engineering department at Boeing. In 1946, she moved to Great Falls, where she worked in the insurance office of the Montana Farmers Union. On Sept. 29, 1951, Olive married William Benjamin Kiemele at Havre.

She was a member of the Van Orsdel United Methodist Church in Havre for 52 years. In her later years, she served as a volunteer for the Havre Senior Center. She enjoyed walking, reading and watching all sports, especially basketball.

Olive was preceded in death by her parents, Theo and Ida Kenfield; husband, William Benjamin Kiemele; six brothers and one sister.

Olive is survived by her daughters, Teresa Krohn of Post Falls, Idaho, and Karen Kiemele of St. Paul, Minn.; son, Gary (Penny) Kiemele of Memphis, Tenn.; two granddaughters and one grandson; several nieces and nephews and many friends.

Memorials in Olive's honor are preferred to the Van Orsdel United Methodist Church or to the North Central Senior Citizens Center.

Services and arrangements are under the direction of the Holland and Bonine Funeral Home.
