Havres Schnittgen to play for Lights

Havre High School's Mike Schnittgen has signed to play college football for the Montana State University-Northern Lights, coach Walt Currie announced.

Schnittgen, a 6-foot-5 280 pound defensive tackle, received honorable mention all-conference honors for the Central A. He also received acadmeic all-state honors for the Ponies.

"Mike has the size to be a very good lineman at the Frontier level," Currie said. "Mike is also a very good student and we are excited to have him playing for the Lights."
