Nystrom wins saddle bronc division twice

Jack Nystrom of Box Elder won a pair of saddle bronc titles at two different rodeo events this past weekend.

Nystrom's first win came at the Butte Vigilante Rodeo held July 6-7. Nystrom received $431 for the win with a score of 75.

Nystrom also won the saddle bronc event at the Drummond Rodeo, riding Big Dipper to a win with 73 points. He was awarded $404 for the victory.

Also at the Butte rodeo, Troy Solomon of Havre picked up a second-place victory in the bareback event with a score of 71. Solomon received $262 for his second place finish.

Jeff Solomon of Havre claimed fourth-place honors in the steer wrestling event with a score of 4.6. Solomon won $256.

Jim Cole of Harlem, teamed with Sam Bird of Cut Bank, came away with a victory in the team roping event at the Drummond rodeo. Cole and Bird won the event with a time of 6.4 seconds and won $625 each.

Also at the Drummond rodeo, Denali Solomon of Havre placed third in the barrel race event with a time of 17.93 seconds. Solomon came away with $356 for her win.
