VIOLA JACOBSON: Obituary

Viola C. Jacobson, 84, Havre, died Sunday, May 21, 2000 at a Havre care center of natural causes.

Cremation has taken place. There will be no services at her request.

Jacobson was born Oct. 15, 1915 in Devils Lake, N.D. to Robert E. and Clara (Bergeth) Stoesser. She attended schools in Churchs Ferry, N.D. and graduated from high school there.

She married Theodore (Ted) Jacobson in Churchs Ferry on Oct. 5, 1948. He was employed by the Great Northern Railroad and they moved with his job to Havre in 1948.

He was a motorcyclist and they spent most of their free time touring the country by motorcycle. She took great pride in her yard and flower garden.

Jacobson was preceded in death by her parents; her husband died in 1983.

Survivors include her special friend Betty Howendobler of Havre, and cousins, Marion Coder of Havre and Roy Stoesser of Great Falls.
