Today, I called Bresnan/Optimum about a "fee" on my phone bill — it's been there awhile but I've been lax about checking up on Obama's regulations. Editor: The Domestic Abuse Program held its Second Annual Spaghetti Dinner Oct. 15 for Domestic Abuse Awareness Month. This year we honored the men, women and children in Montana who have lost their lives due to domestic violence. Since 2000 there have been 64 adult fatalities and seven child fatalities. Editor: In response to Mr. Hanawalt's letter concerning the hiring of someone out of state to head up the public defender's office, I have to say, give credit where credit is due. Editor: One of the by-products of the debt ceiling debate (debacle) was the formation of a "Super Committee" to present proposals to Congress on how to deal with our deficit.
