He was born May 15, 1945, to John Edward and Mary (Smith) Rock on the north side of Havre. John was raised on Rocky Boy's Indian Reservation, where he lived all his life. Joseph J. Zygmond, 86, of Havre, died Aug. 20, 2009, at the Care and Comfort Home in Havre of natural causes. He was born Dec. 21, 1922, to Alex and Olga (Hubert) Zygmond in Havre. He graduated from Havre High in 1941 and began working for the railroad the same year. In 1943, he enlisted in the U.S. Army later proudly serving in The Battle of The Bulge as a tank driver. He was honorably discharged in 1946 as a corporal, returning to Havre where he went back to work for the Burlington Northern Rail road as a material clerk....

James Russell (Jim) Hanson, 85, of Missoula, passed away the morning of July 24, 2009, at home comforted by his wife, children and the care of Partners Hospice, following complications from a heart attack and hip fractures.
