October 9th, 2023, we lost our much-loved matriarch Ruth "Bunny Bobo" Brisbo-Winchell. Bunny was born March 12, 1929, and came from humble beginnings from her family home in Big Warm, at Lodge Pole, Mt., on the Fort Belknap Indian reservation. Bunny left her home at the tender age of 12 to attend high school in Flandreau, S.D where she graduated at 16 years old.
