Former Havre resident Hugh E. Nugent died Sept. 22, 2005, in a St. Paul, Minn., hospital after a long illness. Cremation has taken place at the Cremation Society of Minnesota. No services are planned at this time. Hugh was born Aug. 29, 1932, in Anaconda. He graduated from Anaconda Central High School and served in the U.S. Air Force after graduation.
