The Annual E.L.F - Everybody Loves Firefighters - Food Drive will be running early this year, Monday Oct. 23, with the Havre Fire Department collecting food from porches around Havre. Firefighters will drive around town between 5:30 and 8:30 p.m. and people are encouraged to leave non-perishable food on their porches or sidewalks with the lights on. Havre Police arrested Joe Don Demontiney, 41, of Box Elder Friday after locating an unattended vehicle they said he had used to lead officers on a high speed chase, an incident that is still under investigation.
