The city of Havre announced today the boil water advisory issued April 19 has been downgraded to a health advisory. The release announced the downgrade says people with compromised immune systems, infants and some elderly may be at higher risk. These people should seek advice about drinking water from their health care advisors. Two women alleged to be connected to the March 28 double-homicide in Box Elder have been arrested on drug charges. Commissioner Mark Peterson said during a commission working meeting Monday that levels in Beaver Creek are going down, but slowly and it may be high for some time. Peterson said the only major damage so far has been at Evergeen Campground off of U.S. Highway 87 and Beaver Creek Golf Course west of town on U.S. Highway 2, other than on Rocky Boy’s Indian Reservation, which also declared an emergency.
