Despite the extreme cold, Havre Public Works operations have remained largely unaffected, even as wind chill values are predicted to reach as low as -45 today. Montana State University-Northern is accepting donations of winter wear for their Student and Community Winter Clothing Drive. Organizers are accepting donations of coats, hats, scarves, gloves and mittens for students until Feb. 2 at the college’s Vande Bogart Library during library hours of operation.
