    A prominent Havre businessman was arrested on felony charges Friday at a derailment site where his own company had equipment. An incident report from Hill County Sheriff’s Office said Tom Patrick, 70, was taken into custody without incident. Patrick’s company, Patrick Construction, was at the site working on the 11-car derailment that happened about 8 miles east of Havre Friday afternoon.   • Red Flag fire warning in effect today

    National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag fire warning for northern and north-central Montana ranging from the Rocky Mountain Front to Blaine and Fergus counties. The warning says a combination of gusty winds, low relative humidity and warm temperatures will result in critical fire conditions. The warning is in effect through 9 p.m. today. Amtrak had a minor derailment on the tracks west of Havre near Patrick Construction this afternoon, but no one was injured and the damage was minimal.     At 12:01 a.m. Tuesday Hill County will implement a burn ban, prohibiting people in Hill County from open burning until the ban is rescinded, and the City of Havre is implementing water restrictions. Under the burn ban no campfires will be allowed and no burn permits will be issued, but barbecuing is allowed provided all safety regulations are followed.
