Havre Daily News staff The City of Chinook has announced on its Facebook page this morning that the boil order that was in effect for users of the city water is now off. The water was shut off Wednesday night through Thursday morning to allow repair of a waterline, and due to depressurization necessary a chance of water contamination was possible, leading to the boil order. The order is now off and people can resume using their water from the Chinook Water Treatment Plant as normal....

Northern was unable to hold a ceremony in 2020 due to the pandemic, this ceremony is a combination of students from 2019, 2020 and 2021. The Havre Holiday Village Mall’s annual craft show returns Saturday, May 1, to aid local business amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
