SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) — A B-1B bomber crashed in a remote area of southeastern Montana on Monday, but its four crew members survived after ejecting from the South Dakota-based aircraft, Air Force officials said. Two pilots and two weapons system officers ejected before the bomber crashed about 9:30 a.m. near Broadus, said Col. Kevin Kennedy, commander of the 28th Bomb Wing. A Hays resident was sentenced to more than 27 years in federal prison followed by 20 years probation for assaulting and raping a woman in his home on the Fort Belknap Indian Reservation. Louis Michael Healy, 40, was convicted April 17 after a two-day trial in U.S. District Court in Great Falls of assault resulting in serious injury, aggravated sexual abuse and abusive sexual contact. A Havre man will spend four-and-a-half years in federal prison for possessing large amounts of methamphetamine and cocaine. Christopher Pete Torres Jr., 37, was sentenced in U.S. District Court in Great Falls last week to 54 months in prison for his previously entered guilty plea to a charge of possession of cocaine with intent to distribute. A Rocky Boy man was sentenced to 33 months in federal prison for causing severe injuries to a 1-month-old baby. Jourden St. Marks, 23, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Dana Christensen in federal court in Great Falls last week for his previous guilty plea to assault resulting in serious injury.
