A very busy week for the Montana State University-Northern wrestling team ended with success at Sunday’s Spokane Open. Northern placed five grapplers at the Spokane tourney led by three wrestlers in the championship. Teammates Devin Crawford and Orion Thivierge both reached the final match at 174 pounds. For the first time in schools history, the Box Elder Bears can call themselves state champions in football. Saturday in Bridger, the Bears clobbered the Bridger scouts in the Class C Six-Man state championship game, 84-56.
