HELENA - Our beloved mother and grandmother, Julia Svendsen, left us Nov. 14, 2013, for her heavenly home. Funeral services will be Friday, Nov. 22, 2013, at 1:30 p.m. at Hogeland Lutheran Church. Arrangements have been made with Edwards Funeral Home of Chinook. She was born in Caledonia, Minn., on Sept. 21, 1915. Julia was raised in Hogeland (the farm) by Walter and Alma Wing. Elizabeth “Bette” Killian was born Aug. 11, 1930, the second of four daughters born to Harry E. and Wilma (Varner) Anderson. Bette was raised in Chinook, graduating from high school in 1948. She attended Northern Montana College and spent many years working as a legal secretary for various firms in Oklahoma and Texas. In 1956 she married Marion E. Killian in Helena, Mont. Thomas "Todd" Gummer born Aug 20, 1923, in Gildford, Mont., passed away Nov. 14, 2013, in Spokane, Wash.
