Despite the Montana Department of Motor Vehicles being shut down for computer upgrades, people will still be able to do some work online and will have a grace period for renewals. William "Bill" Verploegen died Nov. 15, 2020 at Benefis Hospital in Great Falls due to COVID-19. He was 86. Bill attended Cottonwood School and then continued farming with his parents, John and Margaret Verploegen, 25 miles north of Havre.
