The Relay for Life of North Central Montana Committee is preparing to march in Chinook’s 33rd annual Parade of Lights Nov. 23. The committee held its monthly meeting in the back room of Gram’s Ice Cream and Candy Shoppe in Havre Monday. A Kremlin resident was in the Hill County Detention Center on $50,000 bond awaiting charges to be filed stemming from reports he had sex with a middle school-aged girl. Jaden Peet, born in 2000, was being held on pending charges of two counts of sexual intercourse without consent and endangering the welfare of a child. Dakota Houle was sentenced in state District Court in Havre Monday to probation on two separate charges to which he pleaded guilty.
