The Montana State University-Northern Lights suffered a rough loss last Saturday at Eastern Oregon. Back in Blue Pony Stadium, the No. 2 Carroll College Fighting Saints showed no mercy on the young Lights. Saturday afternoon, Carroll drubbed MSU-N 55-13. For the home Hi-Line team, the first day of the Montana high school football playoffs was great. For the road teams, not so much. The Havre Blue Ponies were stunned by the No. 5 Miles City Cowboys Saturday in Miles City in the first round of the Class A playoffs. Miles City edged the Ponies 48-47 in overtime.
