Havre Beneath the Streets is in second place of 20 candidates in voting for USA Today’s Best Underground Attraction. Only the Port Angeles Underground is ahead of the Havre attraction in the voting.     MATT VOLZ Associated Press HELENA — A teacher fired from a Catholic school in Montana after an anonymous letter writer said she was unmarried and pregnant reached a confidential settlement with the school district and the Roman Catholic Diocese of Helena.     At their monthly meeting Tuesday night, the Great Northern Fair board voted unanimously offer the position of fairboard manager to an applicant. The position has been open since last October after the resignation of Mike Sharp. Fair Board Chair Paul McCann and board member Missy Boucher said the applicant requested his name not be revealed until he accepted the position so he could have time to inform his current employer.     The union representing Havre firefighters claims the department’s management is discriminating against firefighter DJ Olson by denying him the opportunity to take a promotional test. The Havre chapter of the International Association of Fire Fighters filed a grievance against the city that was heard by City Council’s Labor Committee Tuesday night.
