Havre Fire Department responded to three fires in the Havre area over the weekend. Saturday at 8:33 a.m., Havre firefighters were called to a structure fire on the 2600 Block of 34th Street Southeast, in the Saddle Butte area of Rural Fire District 1. Fire Chief Nathan Courtnage said that seven personnel in two engines and an ambulance were on-scene. Unofficial primary election results for the Fort Belknap Indian Community Council have been released, sending 18 candidates for eight seats to the general election later this year. On Saturday afternoon, the Montana State University-Northern football team competed in already its fourth home game of the season at Tilleman Field.
