The MSU-Northern volleyball team was able to remain unbeaten in the Frontier Conference by beating Carroll College in a five-set thriller Saturday in Helena. The Skylights defeated the Saints by scores of 22-25, 25-23, 25-19, 21-25 and 15-12. Abby Nicholas racked up 26 kills in the dramatic win as the Skylights improved to 7-0 in the Frontier. BILLINGS (AP) — A Bridger-area woman who violated a requirement she not own any animals as conditions set in an animal cruelty case has been sentenced to 15 years in prison. The Billings Gazette reports (http://bit.ly/19q9SKq) that Teresa Martin was sentenced Friday in Carbon County District Court. Thirteen years of the sentence were suspended.
