    After a condensed event last year due to COVID-19, the Chinook Sugarbeet Festival is back to full strength this year, with a slew of events returning to the area Saturday.     The Montana state COVID tracking map after this morning’s update listed 1,217 new cases, 11,763 active cases, 415 hospitalizations and 2,009 deaths. The cumulative total for the state was 151,033 cases. Blaine County Health Department reported Wednesday evening being notified of 17 new cases, 94 active, no active hospitalizations listed, 1,154 total cases, 24 deaths. FWP and partner AIS early detection crews surveyed more than 300 waters around the state, collecting over 2,200 early detection samples looking for new populations of invasive mussels, snails, clams and aquatic weeds.
