The punishment all but completed the dizzying, late-in-life fall from grace for the comedian, former TV star and breaker of racial barriers. "It is time for...

Editor, I enjoyed your article about the renewed interest in Burnham School on the Fresno Road west of Havre. The old school when it closed consisted not only of the stately school building itself but also a tool/wood/coal shed and a four-horse stable, and also a playground, grove and bomb shelter (Since the time was World War II and there was still fear of bombing attacks on western states). There were eight students — five boys and three girls — as a part of the student body on that final year, all in the same cla...
Another weekend of high school football is in the books, but maybe the biggest story this past weekend was the teams that didn't play, instead of those that did. Two area 8-Man football teams, Rocky Boy and Box Elder each forfeited their respective games over the weekend. Box Elder was supposed to play Great Falls Central and Rocky Boy was scheduled to play Chinook, so both Chinook and Great Falls Central will get a win within the Northern C. For the Stars and the Bears, it's...

The entire Big Sky Region was in Havre last weekend, including teams from Montana, Montana State, University of Providence, Miles Commu...
The Frontier Conference has reached the bye week. And it's unusual because every single team in the league has the week off. So, with most teams having played four or even five games thus far, it's time to review where we're at. And here's the first thing that's becoming clear as we head into October - the Frontier is probably once again only going to get one team in the NAIA playoffs. Is it a done deal? No. But, it looks like that's where the league is headed. Southern...
