  • Havre High runs fast at Malta Invite

    Chris Peterson|Updated Sep 10, 2018

Both Havre High cross country teams had success at the Malta Invitational last season, and this past Saturday, it was deja vu for both Blue Pony squads as they each finished within the top two in Malta. On the girls side of things, there was just a total of three teams that had enough runners to qualify for the team competition and in that race, Havre finished second, getting 49 points compared to 37 for Glasgow. However, the Ponies did have an individual triumph in the race...

But considering that all of their foes were Class AA, it wasn’t all bad. “A...

One week after getting steamrolled, on the road, by Lewistown, 47-6, the Blue Ponies paid a visit to a team that defeated the Eagles 38-12 just two weeks ago. Yet, HHS wasn’t intimidated and trailed by just eight points with a couple minute...

  • Bulldogs turn out the Lights in Dillon

    George Ferguson|Updated Sep 10, 2018

There’s just no getting around how young the Montana State University-Northern Lights are, and for the second straight week, the youth and inexperience showed — and this time, it meant a tough night on the road. In Northern’s first Frontier Conference road game of 2018, the Lights were throttled by the UM-Western Bulldogs 55-3 Saturday night in Dillon. The loss dropped MSU-N to 0-2 in the Frontier and 1-2 overall. And like in last week’s loss to Rocky Mountain College in Havr...
