Hill County Health Department officials say a potentially harmful algal bloom has been confirmed at Beaver Creek Reservoir and people are advised to stay away from the water. Public Health Director Kim Larson said the algal bloom was reported Aug. 24 and has been confirmed by the Montana Department of Environmental Quality. Staff and wire report — Two Las Vegas businessmen have been sentenced to 20 months in prison for their roles in defrauding the Chippewa Cree Tribe’s online lending company, Plain Green. The U.S. Attorney’s Office says Zachary Brooke Roberts and Martin Gasper Mazarra were sentenced Friday in federal court in Great Falls.
