Staff and wire report Zanetta Rochelle Lester, 22, of Hays died in a rollover crash early Tuesday morning near Lodge Pole. The Montana Highway Patrol said Lester was westbound on BIA Route 11 at about 5:30 a.m. Tuesday when her sport utility vehicle went off the right side of the road. Havre High School's football team spent a part of Wednesday repainting the big H that adorns Blue Pony Stadium. Coach Mark Samson led the team in the effort. He hopes that each year the Blue Ponies will be involved in some kind of team-buildings event that will improve school facilities. One runway at the Havre City-County Airport is back open and Cape Air will be continuing its regular schedule. Saturday, after being closed for 21 days, Cape Air will resume flights. Terry Knowlton, the airport manager, said both runways should be open Sept. 11, tentatively. “Things went really well,” Knowlton said Wednesday about the construction. “We got really good weather. Doug Hopf was sentenced this week on charges of assault with a weapon, criminal endangerment and tampering with witnesses or informants — all felonies — to five years in prison. Hopf, born in 1968, was arrested after officers responded to a call in November about a man who was accusing another of trying to kill someone. Delores Anderson, 79, died of natural causes on Aug. 3, 2015, at a Yuma, Arizona, hospital. She was born Delores May Genger on Jan. 23, 1936, in Great Falls to Dora Thorn and Wilbur Genger.
