    Today, VA announced that veterans and survivors who apply, or submit their intent to file, for PACT Act benefits by 9:59 p.m. Mountain Time Monday, August 14, 2023, will be eligible to have their benefits backdated to August 10, 2022 – the day that President Joe Biden signed the PACT Act into law.     The Havre Public Schools Board of Trustees discussed enrollment and the coming year’s transportation schedule during their regular meeting Tuesday evening.     After five days of play, the Northwest Regional Baseball Tournament finally crowned a champion Tuesday night. At the end of a back-and-forth game at Legion Field to end the tournament, the Redmond SunWest of Oregon emerged as the regionals champion with an 8-6 win over the Service Cougars of Alaska.
