  • Work closes one lane on 600 Block of Third Avenue

    Havre Public Works announced that work will start today on a half block on the 600 Block of Third Avenue. The northbound lane of Third Avenue from the intersection of Third Avenue and Seventh Street on the south to approximately the middle of the block on the north will be closed while workers prepare, pour concrete, and let it cure.     It was a successful Havre Jamboree for the Havre Northstars American Legion Baseball Club. Last weekend, the Northstars went a perfect 4-0 at Legion Field. Havre beat Miles City 9-2, Gallatin Valley 2-0, Glendale 8-3 and Glasgow 10-4. The Northstars got outstanding offensive performances from Tyson Brandon and Tanner DeLarosa, whole Terek Shipp was a star both at the plate and on the mound as Havre improved to 7-4 on the seasonn.
