The city of Havre announced today the boil water advisory issued April 19 has been downgraded to a health advisory. The release announced the downgrade says people with compromised immune systems, infants and some elderly may be at higher risk. These people should seek advice about drinking water from their health care advisors. Great news! Beaver Creek Golf Course is back in business. BCGC announced on its Facebook Page earlier this week that it would re-open the course on Memorial Day after floodwaters from Beaver Creek has inundated the course earlier this month. Craig and Heidi said on Facebook that #7 and #16 would be a Par 3 for the time being as work still needs to be done to restore the course. Several area athletes reached the podium at last weekend’s Class C state track meet in Great Falls. In the girls’ 100-meter dash, Fort Benton’s Ally Jaques ran a personal-best 12.84, which was good for third place. Ali Doyle of Turner was a 200-meter podium placer, doing it in 27.42.
