Flood warnings and advisories remain in place in Chouteau County and Blaine County also has them in place, mainly because of an ice jam in Clear Creek that has been cleared, a county official said. Blaine County Disaster and Emergency Services Coordinator Haley Velk said an ice jam caused water levels to rise above flood stage in Clear Creek, with flooding on Machinist Road about seven miles south and west of Chinook. Thanks to an outstanding finish to the winter sports season, Havre High made a big jump in the Great Falls Tribune All-Sports Trophy race. With a state championship in girls basketball, and a second-place finish in wrestling, Havre now has 40 points and is in ninth place overall. A host of wrestlers from the Havre Wrestling Club did well at the Montana Open this past weekend in Billings.
