For weeks now, it looked as though the Montana State University-Northern women's basketball team was locked in to the NAIA national tournament. On Wednesday afternoon, it became official. Northern received an at-large bid to the national tournament, which runs March 19-25 in Franfort, KY. MSU-N is making its first appearance at the national tourney since 2005, and its second under head coach Chris Mouat. The Havre Public School Board of Trustees met Tuesday night to honor football and wrestling students, approve student travel to Europe and buy two new buses. People from all around the Hi-Line came to Stone Child College at Rocky Boy's Indian Reservation Tuesday to discuss the drug problems on reservations. The 65th Montana Seed Show brings Hi-Liners to Harlem to take part in the three-day festival. Paul Rasmussen, one of the main organizers of the show, said, if he had to guess, the event will bring in more than 1,000 people over the weekend. The most popular days for visitors are Friday and Saturday. Thursday is the entry day for agricultural exhibits, woodworking and fleece submissions to the competition. The first of several sets of people accused of embezzling and defrauding the federal government of funds allocated to Rocky Boy’s Indian Reservation was sentenced Tuesday in federal court in Great Falls.
