It has mesh on either side, with one big plexiglass bubble in the back, so Felix can watch his fellow passengers in comfort. He hasn’t flown yet, but our trips to an...

In it was a sentence like “it was more of an Argentinization of Brazil than a Brazilianization of Argentina. Though one can argue the Brazilianization of Argentina is really the Brazilianization of Brazil.” The essay led me to make a deep, meaningful conclusion. It wasn’t about Brazil. It was about life. Havre City Council approved Monday an ordinance adopting Title 4, Chapter 5 to create new business registration requirements was passed. In an interview Friday, Havre Mayor Doug Kaercher said the city used to require businesses to be licensed by them in order to operate, but the recurring fees associated with that license were perceived by many as "being double taxed," so the city council got rid of the requirement. The ordinance does not bring back the licensing, but is a...
Talk about a long road. Once upon a time, the Big Sandy girls basketball team was a fixture at the Class C state tournament. In the 1980s and 1990s, the Pioneers were among the elite programs in Class C. But, for more than a decade, that all changed. Now however, the Pioneers have finally returned to the state tournament, and they'll get to do it in Great Falls, which is essentially a home away from home for the Pioneers of head coach Travis Baumann. Tonight, inside the Four Seasons Arena in Great Falls, the undefeated Bears begin their quest for a Class C state title when they take on the Harrison Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. The Wildcats, the runner-up in the Western...
