The Montana State University-Northern women's basketball team defeated Carroll College 50-48 in a nationally-ranked showdown Thursday night in Helena. The No. 11 Skylights broke a 48-48 tie with the No. 19 Fighting Saints when A'Jha Edwards put back a Taylor Cummings miss with :02 left in the contest. The Hill County DUI task force held a meeting Wednesday, and there were a variety of discussions concerning bringing awareness to DUIs. Havre Police Chief, Gabe Matosich gave an update on the numbers of DUIs for this past New Year’s Eve. “New Year’s Eve, there were no DUIs,” he said.
