Fort Belknap Indian Community Council reported in a Facebook post on its page that a police chase that started near Hays in the early morning Saturday ended in a fatal shooting by Fort Belknap police. The post says Blaine County sheriff's office personnel responded to assist and the Federal Bureau of Investigation responded to investigate. A Havre woman has pleaded guilty in state District Court in Havre to a homicide charge stemming from a head-on crash east of Havre in January.
