Chinook High School went into “secure in place” status Tuesday after administration heard a report of a student who said they had a gun. The status was announced in a Facebook post Tuesday, which later was updated to say the student had turned themself in to police after school and the school had returned to normal status. Fort Belknap Indian Community announced it has received a $10 million boost in its effort to create a wellness center on the reservation.
