Seasons greetings. We have been having some strange weather lately, and it hasn’t really felt like Christmas. I hope we can change that. The Havre-Hill County Library will be hosting a hay ride. Saturday, from 1 to 3 p.m. Jack Solomon will bring his team of horses to the library, and we will hop aboard the wagon to Christmas Carol through town. The Havre-Hill County Library Summer Reading Program was a smashing success. We want to say thank you to our generous donors: Creative Leisure, Dairy Queen, Radio Shack, Carol Pleninger, Chris Comp, Mark Peterson, Jason Barkus, James Dahl, Tim Solomon, Havre Police Protective Association and Friends of the Library. With your contributions, we had the highest numbers we have seen in a long time. A total of 355 people signed up for the program.
