    It’s time for the Mixed Doubles No-Tap Tournament at Harvest Moon Lanes. The tournament will be held April 1-2 and April 8-9. Sign-up sheets and tournament rules are at the desk.     It always amazes me. How can a person bowl like a 239 game and the very next game is a 100? You do everything the same, so you would think anyway, but apparently something’s just not quite right.     The Havre City Tournament at Harvest Moon Lanes is over and here are some of the top scores for the tournament. For the team event: Oxford Bar took first, 2,670; Harvest Moon Lanes took second, 2,625. In doubles, Monty Valdez and Steve Newbury took first, 1,328; Brian Adams and Caleb Young took second, 1,365.     The City Tournament starts Feb. 8. Wednesday night is for team events only. Saturday and Sunday is for teams, doubles and singles. A reminder to college students, Monday’s from 7 to 10 p.m. we have special rates on bowling, shoes and beverages. Open bowling is also available. Jackpots have increased for Saturday nights.     The results from the Challenge Tournament are in. Roman Surber defended his title with a win over Bruce Morelli in the step ladder event. Bruce was leading the event after the Top 10 cut leaving him in first for the Top 5. The Top 5 bowlers for were, Surber, Morelli, Jason McDonald, Ryne Antley and Shawn Mariani.     It was a pretty quiet week at the lanes. I think everyone felt the same as we did. The holiday’s are over and we can kick back and relax a bit. Our next event at Harvest Moon Lanes is the Challenge Tournament. It is scheduled for Jan. 21. If you have never bowled this tournament, you need to try it.     New Year’s Eve Jackpot Bowling was a huge success. Thank you all for helping Harvest Moon Lanes with their first party event. We enjoyed having you all to share the evening with us.     The holidays are in full swing, shopping, wrapping, baking and parties. Harvest Moon Lanes had a pretty good turnout for the Saturday Jackpot Bowling.
