    The man who held himself at gunpoint for 21 hours in April outside the U.S. Bank building was officially deemed to have committed suicide. A coroner's jury made the decision Friday on the cause of Robert Jay Thomas II's death. "The jury found he was killed by taking his own life with a pistol" said Hill County Attorney Ed Hirsch.     The first official Havre Trails meeting will be held Dec. 8 at Property West LLC at 5:30 p.m. The group has been formed to push for the completion of trail projects in the area and promote walking and biking in the community.     Havre High School Student Congress installed a distilled water bottle fountain at their school to keep students hydrated. The EZ H2O Bottle Filling Station dispenses distilled water as an alternative to the public water fountains placed throughout the school.     Bruce Harold Sunchild, who faces theft and tax evasion charges in a string of Rocky Boy’s Indian Reservation investigations, had a change-of-plea hearing Monday.     Bruce Meyers, who was elected Tuesday to the Montana House from District 32, was convicted on an assault of a minor that took place Aug. 20, 2005.     The Hill County DUI Task Force conducted a sting Friday to see which businesses selling alcohol were checking IDs and which were not. At around 4 p.m. Friday, the Task Force conducted alcohol compliance checks on four businesses. Two of the businesses passed and two failed.
