    NorthWestern Energy announced this morning that it is donating $125,000 to Montana State University-Northern’s new automotive and diesel technologies building. Officials from NorthWestern are going to meet with MSU-Northern officials at interim Chancellor Greg Kegel’s house at 4:30 p.m. today. The ball is one of Montana State University-Northern’s premier fundraising events and all the money gained at the ball will go to scholarships for future and current Northern students.     A Havre native and a Shelby resident were assaulted in New Zealand within 48 hours of landing in the country. Jacob Ulgenes, 22, of Havre and Scott Kelleher, 23,of Shelby graduated December from Montana Tech in Butte and were visiting New Zealand as a vacation.     Amber Nicole Wells, one of the three women who were charged with felonies for stealing from a Rocky Boy’s Indian Reservation casino, pleaded guilty Tuesday. She, along with Maria Rose Newton and Melinda Marie Descharm, on or around Jan. 20, 2013, stole more than $1,000 from the casino, her indictment reads.     Northern Montana Hospital scored the worst in the state for hospital-caused illnesses and injuries in a recent study and will be penalized as a result. The Havre hospital is one of 721 in the nation that are being penalized for having too many hospital-induced ailments.     Town Pump is selling regular gas at a price of $2.25 a gallon, making it the cheapest in town currently, according to reports from www.montanagasprices.com.
