    Dallas Lawrence, 32, of Box Elder, was convicted Wednesday of two rapes, two strangulations, two assaults with intent to commit murder and assault with a deadly weapon. Lawrence, in September of 2013, stabbed a woman in the calf. He was in a relationship with her at the time, and when the woman was taken to Northern Montana Hospital, she told doctors that she was in an abusive relationship, and Lawrence tried to break her arms and legs to keep her from leaving him.     Another embezzler of the funds given to Rocky Boy’s Indian Reservation, who had an indictment filed against him in October, is scheduled to be arraigned Feb. 3. Timothy Warren Rosette has been indicted for a charge of bribery of an official of an Indian tribal government receiving federal funds, which carries a maximum penalty of 10 years imprisonment, with three years of supervised release, and a $250,000 fine.     The 114th Congress passed the Keystone Pipestone XL Pipeline bill by a vote of 62 to 36 Thursday. The largely Republican Congress is in its legislative session and green lit the project, but President Barack Obama has the bill next. Sen.     A fire 6 miles east of Havre Tuesday on Clear Creek Road had both the Havre and Bear Paw Fire Department fighting to extinguish it. About 20 acres and a cabin were engulfed in the flames and it was a total loss, said Josh Bebee, fire chief of Bear Paw Fire Department. “We were probably on it — from when we got the call to when we left — for probably two hours,” Bebee said.     Theodora Ann Morsette, one of the people indicted in the Rocky Boy’s Indian Reservation corruption sweep, was found guilty by a jury Wednesday. The jury found her guilty of theft from an Indian tribal government receiving federal grants, theft from an Indian organization and theft from a health care facility. Morsette was the finance manager for the Rocky Boy Health Board Clinic of the Chippewa Cree Tribe in Box Elder and embezzled money from it from 2010 to 2013.     Bruce Harold Sunchild, one of the former Rocky Boy’s Indian Reservation officials caught in the corruption investigations, was scheduled to receive his sentence today, but that has been moved to March 12. Sunchild pleaded guilty Nov. 10 to a charge of income tax evasion, two counts of theft from an Indian tribal organization and bribery.     Firefighters were called to Ike Avenue Monday afternoon to put out a fire that took the lives of two dogs. The call about a fire in a kitchen came to the Havre Fire Department at 12:15 p.m. Monday. Eight firefighters in two engines, along with emergency medical personnel and Havre police, raced to the 1300 Block of Ike Avenue to put out the fire that was contained in the kitchen.
