The Havre School Board of Trustees quickly passed a resolution Tuesday night allowing the Havre High School Band to travel to Washington, D.C., over the Fourth of July holiday. A proposal to raise taxes to fund a $30 million street repair program in Havre was defeated by voters Tuesday. Voters elected Ed Matter to City Council from Ward 1 and Caleb Hutchens from Ward 3.
