    The 2024 NAIA cross country season came to an end with the national championships last Friday in Columbia, Missouri. And that race included one runner from Montana State University-Northern. MSU-N freshman James Stensland-Plymale earned an at-large bid to the NAIA men's national championship and raced in the 8,000 meters.     For the first time in schools history, the Box Elder Bears can call themselves state champions in football. Saturday in Bridger, the Bears clobbered the Bridger Scouts in the Class C Six-Man state championship game, 84-56. Box Elder went from 3-5 a season ago to state champions in just over a year's time.
