    In many cases, a programs' success greatly depends on its senior athletes and senior leadership. Seniors bring a lot of experience to prep athletics, and if those same experienced athletes can step up and take over the leadership roles, teams typically gain an edge.     The weather continues to be a big story for spring sports, or more so, the lack of bad weather so far. And that was the case for the Havre High boys and girls tennis teams as they tripped to Conrad this weekend.     Malta came to Havre on Tuesday night, and gave the Havre High boys basketball team a tough night at home. The Central A Blue Ponies hosted the Class B Mustangs at the Havre High gymnasium, but suffered a severe loss to the defending Class B state champions.     With makeup games still being taken care of, local boys basketball fans got a couple extra games this week. On Tuesday, two Hi-Line makeup games were played, including the Hays-Lodge Pole Thunderbirds taking on the Turner Tornadoes in District 9C action.
