Senior swimmer Kacie Johnson has been a big part of the Havre High girls swim team success. There were some big wins and surprising upsets in boys basketball across the Hi-Line this weekend. On Thursday, in Class 9C action, the Box Elder Bears defeated the Chinook Sugarbeeters 72-56. The Beeters were preseason favorites to take the 9C, but the Bears proved to be contenders as well. Overall, the Bears put together four solid quarters. On Thursday the 1B Rocky Boy stars kept their hopes of a top finish alive with a 65-64 overtime win over Conrad in conference play. The Stars made it through the tight matchup on the shoulders of Leisen Oats and Kirby Lafromboise.
