Matthew Dean Weaving, 23, of Box Elder was arrested on a charge of criminal mischief after officer responded to a 1:01 p.m. Thursday call from a 1st Street business about vandalism to a hotel room.

Officers investigated a 1:03 p.m. Thursday call from 7th Street about a fight between a son and father.

A motor vehicle crash was investigated after officers responded to a 1:36 p.m. Thursday call from a 3rd Street business.

Jennifer April Roses Peeles, 34, of Pheonix and Matthew Koontz, 26, no address, were arrested after officers responded to a 1:45 p.m. Thursday call from a 1st Street West business about transients fighting.

Officers investigated a 3:21 p.m. Thursday complaint at the police station about keys that were found by Lincoln-McKinley School.

Officers investigated a 4:39 p.m. Thursday call from Northern Montana Hospital about a suicidal patient trying to leave.

Adrian Sanchez, 32, a transient out of California, was arrested on a charge of trespassing after an officer investigated suspicious activity at the viaduct at 12:23 a.m. today.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies investigated a 6:42 a.m. today from a U.S. Highway 2 business about an automobile theft.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls Thursday.

Firefighters were called to the 1300 Block of County Road 860 Northwest at 3:42 p.m. Thursday. Bear Paw Volunteer Fire Department was already on scene and the fire was contained and extinguished. The cause was deemed friction caused by a harvesting combine.
