Helen Lorraine Wingfield

Helen Lorraine Wingfield, 89, of Kingston, Idaho, passed away Aug. 3, 2014, at the Life Care Center of Post Falls, Idaho. She was born Jan. 23, 1925, in Ronan, Montana. Helen was the daughter of Albert and Leone (Emminger) Brewer. 

Helen moved to the Silver Valley from Polson, Montana. 

Helen was a homemaker for many years raising five children. Helen loved teaching and helping others. She helped with Meals On Wheels and taught Catechism to prisoners in Arizona. 

On March 16 1946, Helen was united in marriage to Lyndell Wingfield in Spokane, Washington. 

Helen was a member of the Good Samaritan Society. In her free time she enjoyed quilting and knitting. 

Helen is survived by her five children, Art (Katherine) Wingfield of Elk, Washington, Charles (Nancy) Wingfield of Homer, Alaska, Dale Wingfield of Bozeman, Montana, Jean (Mike) Roberts, of Houston, Texas and Mary (Joel) Brodeur of Havre, Montana; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Helen was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lyndell; and siblings, Ruth, Clyde and Donald. 

A Graveside Memorial Service was held on Sunday, August 10, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Shoshone Memorial Gardens, Kingston, Idaho. 

In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials may be made out to Meals On Wheels 413 N. Lee Street Alexandria, Virginia 22314.
