Havre Police Department

Jonathan Seaton, 22, of Havre was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct after officers investigated a 7:12 a.m. Tuesday call from 3rd Street about a man in the alley next to the calling party’s residence with a shirt over his head screaming.

Hadushka Anthony Howell, 35, of Box Elder was issued a summons on a charge of criminal contempt after a 24/7 Sobriety Program no-show at 8:18 a.m. Tuesday at the police station. He was given the summons when he arrived at the police station at 8 p.m.

Tomi Bunney, 26, of Havre was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after officers served it to her at 2:38 p.m. Tuesday at the police station.

Officers investigated a 5:24 p.m. Tuesday call from 9th Avenue about items that were stolen from the calling party’s home.

Joseph Edward Damson, 66, of Havre was arrested on a charge of violation of a protective order after officers responded to a 5:24 p.m. Tuesday call from 1st Street.

Mike Thomas Rider, 32, of Havre was arrested on charges of partner or family member assault, possession of drug paraphernalia and probation violation after officers responded to a 10:48 p.m. Tuesday call from 3rd Street about a domestic disturbance.

Elizabeth Delynn Wardell, 28, of Havre was arrested on charges of criminal child endangerment, driving under the influence, reckless driving, violation of child restraint and criminal child endangerment after officers responded to a 10:49 p.m. Tuesday call from 6th Street about the calling party seeing a two-vehicle, noninjury accident out front.

Someone was arrested at 2:10 a.m. this morning after officers responded to a call from a 1st Street West business about transients behind the store.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Nathan Boyd Oats, 35, of Havre was arrested on a Justice Court warrant after a deputy investigated a man walking alongside the road at 2:06 p.m. Tuesday on U.S. Highway 87.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to four calls Tuesday.

Firefighters were called to extinguish grass fires at the 1100 Block of 3rd Street North, one mile east of Havre at 8:20 p.m., to the 3200 Block of Old Post Road at 8:22 p.m., to the 800 Block of 9th Street West at 8:35 p.m., to the 3100 Block of 14th Street West at 8:44 p.m. and the 1100 Block of 3rd Street North at 9:16 p.m. Tuesday.

The fires were caused by lightning strikes or arcing power lines caused by falling branches, but were extinguished for the most part by the rain that followed the lightning.

Animal Shelter

A black and white male pit bull mix was placed in the shelter June 27, a black male cat June 20, a gray, brown and white male pit bull mix July 27 and a black and white female German shorthair Aug. 6.
